Need Golos or Cavalier of Thorns on T2? The Enigma Jewel (and Nykthos) Provides - MTGA Explorer BO1

Okay, so you didn't like the Dimir Mill deck in my last video very much. I don't blame you because I personally HATE mill decks with a burning passion. Dimir is just one of those color combinations that has a knack for playing jerk cards and doing jerk things, so its really Dimir's fault and not mine. Along my quest to make more fun decks with The Enigma Jewel, I've always had Nykthos on my radar but never bothered to brew around it because I'm not a fan of green creature-based decks in general. I'm also not a huge fan of spamming counterspells, so Simic as a combination just didn't work for me because once something hit the board that was pretty much game. I visit the Faithless Brewing Discord channel frequently and Sloth Thopterist posted a Simic Jewel deck that ramps out BIG creatures pretty quickly, so it got me thinking about how I could do something similar and focused on Leyline of the Guildpact, The Enigma Jewel, and Nykthos providing 5 mana on T2. I settled on Golos and Cavalier of Thorns as my 5-mana targets and pulled in Kiora, Storm the Festival, and Ulvenwald Oddity from the Mono Green Devotion decks. I also added Doppelgang as my own flavoring. For contingencies when you can't start with Leyline, you can hit 5 mana on T3 with a Jewel, Collector's Vault, and 3 lands. You can also pray for a 5 mana creature on T3 with three lands, a Jewel, and Vivien's Arkbow...which is also nice to pump out creatures against control decks. Four Omen Hawkers are added as contingencies. My first venture into Diamond BO1 went 22-18, so it's on the right side of 50% and there aren't any decks I can't beat assuming I hit the right cards. I did take out the Blessings, Baloth, and Polukronos for Wizard Class and Hulking Metamorph but I would keep an eye on my Untapped page if you want to keep up with this one. It's fun, explosive, and I feel this engine has potential so I may try some other things (ahem, Land Destruction) out and see where it goes. Don't buy wildcards for this and get mad at me if it doesn't work for you. I think this has potential and am gonna keep messing with it, but wanted to share the concept in case anyone wants to brew on it and provide thoughts and feedback.
