Grizedale Forest: Breaking free of the North Face Trail Grizedale Forest in the Lake District is well known for its mountain biking, one of the main reasons being because it is home to the North Face trail, a purpose built mountain bike trail that has been a feature in the forest for many years. The forest is also covered with bridleways, the majority of which are far more enjoyable to ride than the purpose built trail. In this weeks video, I show Marc and Christian around the forest, but starting and finishing in Bowness, using the ferry to cross the lake and then heading over Claife Heights before entering Grizedale itself. Marc has ridden in the Lakes once before, with me, and Christian, although having lived in the area in his teen years, had never ridden in the area. What would they think of the riding?
