In this video we strike out fishing in the morning on Donald, but our luck quickly turns as we head south down the lake. We end up having a delicious bass fish fry before tackling a series of portages back to Maskinonge. It was a breathtaking series of portages through trickling waterfalls, log jams, canyons, and rock gardens. Joining us on this trip was Cait's brother, Sean, and his girlfriend, Zoë. They had never been on a backcountry trip or portaged! In this video they pushed themselves through difficult terrain, paddled through heavy winds, and finished their first trip strong.
