Hello my Brothers and Sisters and welcome back to my channel! In this video, you will see my Dad and I at Osbourne House. This is the first time I have been to Osbourne House, and it is a beautiful Holiday Palace! Osbourne House is run by English Heritage and has so much to see. The House Gardens, the Palace, The Beach and it’s outdoors cafes. On this visit, we only saw the House and inner gardens because we were both tired from the day’s adventures. The 2 mile walk around the Needles wore us out. It was worth it though. Osbourne House was Queen Victoria’s and Prince Albert’s holiday home. Queen Victoria passed away in this house and truly loved this beautiful palace. It is filled with grand décor and stunning paintings. The family portraits of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert with their children was littered throughout the rooms. The living quarters were spectacular, filled with unique ornaments, paintings, materials and décor. This palace was so worth the visit! The gardens were just as beautiful! We did not visit the beach area, however, that gives us an excuse to return another day and enjoy it in all its glory. I wonder what it will look like around Christmas time? More reason to return to the Isle of Wight to see Osbourne House again as there is so much more to see! After this, we made our way back to the Ferry back to Portsmouth. I managed to get some lovely shorts of Southsea common and the harbour on the way home. I do hope you enjoyed Part 7 and this series for Isle of Wight Adventure!
