CREATE & INNOVATE - Final youth-led showcase Young people led and co-created youth social action and creative campaigns, addressing stigmas in healthcare, particularly around female reproductive health and gender identity. Youth-led video campaigns & presentations were shared with local stakeholders from: NHS Public Health City council representatives University of Southampton MAST Mayflower Studios TransLucent Key Goals and Objectives: Empowered young people to lead social action projects Addressed stigmas around female reproductive health and LGBTQIA+ issues in healthcare Engaged with local young people through creative methodologies Created a lasting legacy through youth-led findings and performances Fostered a sense of civic pride and community cohesion among young people in Southampton. Funded by Young Southampton (UKSPF) The event was open to: Young participants from the CREATE & INNOVATE youth social action programme Young people from Southampton (aged 14-25 yrs) interested in hearing and learning more about the creative campaigns and findings Local organisations and authorities seeking to understand youth perspectives and initiatives for healthcare reform.
