TBB's Akua Gyamfi, speaks to former Drama School students about their personal experiences with systemic racism at some of the UK's top Drama Schools. Actress Shaniqua Okwok, took to social media to express her disproval with The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama's (CSSD) recent show of support to the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Okwok revealed that during her time at the renowned drama institution, she experienced multiple racist incidents that were never dealt with properly. Joining her in this exclusive discussion with The British Blacklist, are fellow former CSSD students, a student from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), and a student from the Oxford School of Drama who also share their experiences of racism at this elite British institutions.
