Driveshaft Center Support Bearing Replacement - The Volvo 740 T5 Engine Swap Build

Driveshaft Center Support Bearing Replacement - In this video I install the new support bearing on the drive shaft to my Volvo 740 T5 engine swap project. Sometimes you can get away with using a hammer, but for this replacement I decided to use a simple 3 jaw puller. A basic puller like this is something that I think everyone should have in the garage, you might not use it often, but when you are faced with pulling off belt drives, CSD bearings or many other types of bearings or basically anything on an axle, they are a lifesaver. Editing note: My editing program just got a HUGE update and I Am currently running a BETA version of Davinci Resolve 17 and I ran into some bug issues with the plugin I use for sound leveling. So all of the sound in this video is manually adjusted by me. Something that is very difficult to do, so I apologize for the sound being a bit weird. Timestamps: 0:00 - Intro 3:32 - Removal of the CSB 5:00 - Installation of the CSB 7:22 - A little bit about my U-joints 9:35 - Final installation on the car -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Parts used in this video: Get the Febi Bilstein version and not this one (can cause vibrations) Puller tool: https://www.biltema.se/bil---mc/bilve... And the driveshaft is from a Volvo S90 with the manual 3.0L engine Torque specs: Driveshaft bolts M10 : 50 Nm Driveshaft bolts M8 : 30 Nm + 60 Degrees All other bolts use standard torque specs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Disclaimer: Due to factors beyond the control of BackmansGarage, I cannot guarantee against improper use or unauthorized modifications of this information.
