Classic Vintage Recording Studio & Engineering is selling its partially restored and working 1920s Western Electric 387-W double-button carbon mic w/ring mount (power supply not included but available for sale on my Reverb shop). https://reverb.com/shop/cvrse A restored, working, and tested double-button carbon mic NEVER comes up for sale unless its from CVRSE! Grab it before its gone - they never last long! This mic has gone through a partial restoration (since the original diaphragm was in such good condition) and sounds absolutely gorgeous on everything. The incredibly rare and collectible Western Electric 387-W was the first microphone used in the historically and musically significant 1927 "Bristol Sessions" recordings. Check out YouTube for 1927 recordings of groups such as The Carter Family for more sound examples of this mic.
