This mic has gone through a full restoration and sounds absolutely gorgeous on everything. The incredibly rare and collectible Western Electric 387 was the first microphone used in the historically and musically significant 1927 "Bristol Sessions" recordings. Check out YouTube for 1927 recordings of groups such as The Carter Family for more sound examples of this mic.
