DC vs. Marvel Mugen Playthrough: Thanos

This is a playthrough of my own DC vs. Marvel Mugen build, where I play as Marvel's Mad Titan, Thanos, to take down the various heroes and villains from both franchises. Now, I'm certain many of you know of Thanos from the recent Marvel blockbusters, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Well, my friends, let me tell you that the Thanos in the comics is nothing like how he is in the movie. Besides the look and his pursuit of the Infinity Stones, the MCU incarnation and Comic iteration are different in almost every way. Simply put, in the comics, Thanos is a Titan that seeks to gain the favor of the embodiment of Death, finding it to be the most beautiful entity in all of existence. Moreover, he enjoys spreading death and destruction wherever he goes, a total straw nihilist in that regard. Essentially, he's a psychopath with the drive to become omnipotent all so he can satisfy his desire of having the love of a being he can never really be with (since he's immortal) and will go through anyone and anything to get that favor, with his biggest flaws being his overconfidence and inferiority complex that keep him from ever truly being fulfilled. Honestly, I'm half and half as to which Thanos I prefer, as both have ups and downs, but ultimately, I think he's cool to an extent, but nowhere nearly as iconic to me as some other villains. As for how he plays in the build, I have to say that he unfortunately has quite a few drawbacks. You see, he was based around his appearance in MVC2, where he had the base moveset from Marvel Super Heroes, but lacked the extra abilities the Infinity Gems (The Infinity Stones before they were called Stones) in those games granted him. So, many of his moves either hit at odd angles or he has moves that have far less priority than you would expect. Also, unlike his MVC2 counterpart, he lacks his bubble infinite, meaning that you're stuck fighting upfront with him and it is not a fun time. Overall, I would say Thanos is a lower tier character, but at the same time, I do think someone with better skill than myself can make great use of him. Now, this is for entertainment purposes, not a high-level play. I am very much aware that I am not very flashy, I use basic tools, and the screenpack still needs work (Some bugs, portraits don't show up on the versus screen, music needs to be added at spots, and other things). However, I hope you all enjoy this regardless of the quality of my setup and skills. All properties belong to their rightful owners.
