On the red carpet at the 62nd New York Film Festival US Premiere of Luca Guadagnino's Queer, costume designer Jonathan Anderson spoke with The Queer Review's editor James Kleinmann about his vision for the characters' looks, collaborating with Guadagnino, working with Daniel Craig and the love story at the centre of William S. Burroughs' novel that the film is based upon. Queer synopsis: In 1950s Mexico City, William Lee (Daniel Craig), an American ex-pat in his late forties, leads a solitary life amidst a small American community. The arrival in town of Eugene Allerton, a young student, stirs William into finally establishing a meaningful connection with someone. The 62nd New York Film Festival continues until October 14th, 2024.
