While your external hygiene is probably on point, when was the last time you paid any attention to the inside of your shoulders? Controlled Articular Rotations (or CARS for short) can help to maintain full range of motion in the shoulder. Doing them mindfully can help you to constantly monitor and assess the health of your shoulders. Stand as close to the wall as you can as you circle, being sure to not rotate your rib cage or touch the wall with your hand. It is a lot harder than it looks! Aim for 5-10 in both directions, both arms a few times a week. Keep your mobility in check by practicing proper shoulder hygiene!
