PERFECT Summer Day in GOLDEN | Colorado Travel Vlog

Join us on this exciting day in Golden, Colorado where we go tubing through some intimidating rapids, visit Red Rocks Amphitheater, and indulge at some delicious local restaurants! Golden, Colorado is famous for a few reasons. For one, Coors beer is brewed here and the creek running through town runs straight into the factory. That same creek gets some solid rapids which attract many people who come to either tube (like us) or kayak. It's not a big creek, but the scenery is awesome, the water is really pure, and it can get going pretty fast as we quickly found out! Before heading to the creek, we stopped by Red Rocks Amphitheater, but not for a show. In the morning, people come to Red Rocks to get a workout in with an amazing view. This is something we hadn't done before and it was a really awesome experience. Running was made much more tolerable by the incredible rock formations in view. From there we fueled up with some Mediterranean food before heading to the creek. The atmosphere was really fun in the dimly lit room with all the tapestries, artwork, and lanterns. Finally, we headed to the creek which was rushing scarily fast! We made it near the top of the path and got in. The water was shockingly cold! Upon entering the stream we were hastily taken down the stream and were soon separated. The rapids proved to be not so bad... until one got Sabrina! She flipped over and lost track of the tube and dry bag holding our phones and clothes. I (Marshall) jumped back in the water to help fetch the supplies but the fast water didn't make it easy. We eventually made it back, but it was honestly scary for a few minutes. We hope you enjoy!
