Wondering what local things to do around Colorado? Here are some of our favorites from Manitou Springs! We started the day with an absolute staple of our channel, dating back to when we went to Iceland: a hot spring! This was the perfect way to start the day, especially since it included a cold plunge. Next, we continued the relaxing theme by going to a super nice mate shop. Mate is a type of tea originating from South America. The interior was decorated in a way that felt enchanting - almost like a Disney restaurant! Next, we headed to the car to pick up our sack of coins for the penny arcade! Manitou Springs has a fairly large penny arcade with tons of games ranging from retro to new. Most are not pennies anymore but it is still pretty cheap to play - when the game works! We hope you enjoyed the day exploring this really cute town and we will definitely be back soon because there’s much more to explore!
