Even more stored Locomotives: CSX Stored units in Russell, Kentucky!

Right beside the previous storage video in Russell Yard, we flew over CSX's stored locomotives at the west end of the yard. In the mix was a much more eclectic mix of power, including a GP60, an AC6000, and much more EMD than was featured in the Cumberland video. This location featured around 150 locomotives, with lots of units that were once seen roaming the rails all up and down the East coast, and into the central states. Locomotive classes such as the SD70MAC's, GP30-road slugs, and the D8-44CW's were abundant here, all of which have been removed from the active roster, and many number boards, and horns removed to deter theft of such parts. A sad state of the railroads, but such is the way of the future. For anyone wondering where I get my music from for videos such as this; I use a site called Epidemic Soundcloud.
