Nearly 200 stored Locomotives at PRLX: Raceland, KY! Former CSX, NS, Santa Fe, and More!

In this, the second location I've managed to fly the drone with a series of stored locomotives, we are overhead at the Progress Rail shops, in Raceland, Kentucky. Home to more EMD's in one place than I've ever seen in my life, there were somewhere around 175 locomotives here; with Norfolk Southern and CSXT being the main two road names, but a handful of former Santa Fe SD75M's, and other odd-ball names seen as well. The first flight was shot at the west end shops, where the fleet of former Conrail SD60 standard cab's and SD60I's CSX owned are stored, as well as former Conrail SD70's and a handful of SD70M's from Norfolk Southern. You'll also find most of the former CSX SD70M's here, which were captive in the Bone Valley in Florida for most of their service life. The second flight from a couple days later shows the east end shops, where a majority of the locomotives were at. This included a handful of Norfolk Southern SD40's, a couple of CSX SD70ACe's, and the rest of the SD70M fleet, as well as the former Conrail SD80MAC's. Quite a sight to see this much horsepower sitting in one place, especially when you live in places where these locomotives were once the workhorses of the fleet! Hope Everyone Enjoys!
