Any time New York State spends over a million of your taxpayer dollars on something, it's worth checking out. A new, $1.4 million high-tech warning system was recently installed in Glenville, designed to stop trucks from hitting the very low railroad bridge on Glenridge Road. The laser system was installed to read the height of approaching trucks and to warn drivers if their truck won't fit under the bridge. We have one simple question: Does it work?
