Making a water tight conveyor body. Part 1

In this video I start to fabricate a new conveyor body. After taking the old one in bits and realising it had seen better days, the decision to make a new one was made. First job of making the new one was to fabricate the frame that the conveyor belt runs on. This was made from 40x40x3 box sections. End plates where cnc plasma cut out and welded on, 50x10 runners where cut, press and also welded on. Next job was to draw and cut out the frame body. This was cnc plasma cut out of 5mm plate. The holes for the inner guides were cut out and also the holes for the belt frame. The body plates were then pressed and bolted onto the frame. Hope you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching.
