If you've been here for at least a couple of videos, you know I love just about any genre or story, so naturally, when this sequel was announced, I was on board! Sure, there's debate on why Hollywood keeps revisiting classic films, but honestly? I think there's room for both new originals and nostalgic throwbacks. In this video I'm going to talk about why Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a worth while watch. This movie is funny and wildly entertaining. It's no surprise that the acting is fantastic and Michael Keaton steps in to the shoes of the icon Beetlejuice in full force, stealing every scene he's in. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is an incredibly entertaining movie that had me smiling ear to ear with the amount of nostalgia that was just swelling in my heart. I love all the call back from the return of my favorite Sandworm, Delia's sculpture that I'm obsessed with, the opening overhead shot, the costumes and more! The film captures that quirky, offbeat charm of the original while offering plenty of fresh, fun moments. On top of that, this movie showcases so many elements that we don't see very often in modern movies. Sure, the plot is a little messy and Monica Bellucci is criminally underutilized (there is so much unexplored potential) but Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is still sure to entertain fans of the original or anyone going in to this one (and the original) with an open mind. So, whether you're here for the nostalgia trip or curious to see if this sequel lives up to the hype, I’ve got you covered! I'm going to over the good and some bad too. Maybe you're here for the nostalgia or you're here for an acceptable sequel, there's something here for everyone. -🚀 Three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River after an unexpected family tragedy.
