This wont be a particularly interesting video to most who aren't sewists or wanting to sew canvas things. I hope it may be valuable for someone as a reference as I would have found seeing this process useful. It looks simple, but when one actually has to think about how to go about each detail of something from scratch, and the order of things, it can take some time to figure out, particularly if it's something you would prefer not leak or fall on your head. *Disclaimer: Keep in mind this is the first time I've made a bell tent, so upon testing the tent, it's very possible I will have wished I'd done some things differently or better. The process can be unclear even as video, I realize as I begin to forget myself all the details. So I will at least try to provide a little guidance for what's going on in the video: 0:00 changing to heavier needle and thread 0:53 sewing roof panels together with flat felled seams 4:07 adding last two roof panels that go over the door (slightly different shape) 5:43 hemming roof bottom with rolled hem 6:53 measuring and cutting wall 8:47 making the extension for the door so they overlap -hem top and bottom edge -attach -flip and topstitch trim and topstitch to enclose raw edge (*Im using a selvage edge you may have to finish this edge in another way such as hemming it first or roll one edge over the other in a flat fell fashion, etc) 9:43 hemming other door edge Bell Tent size: 3.25 meter (11ft) filmed with iphone se Patreon ~   / thegreenwinde​   Etsy ~ https://www.etsy.com/shop/DefiantWhimUS​
