My tips for starting with mtb trail building. Getting started with and learning how to build mtb trails can be really tricky, there isn't really a ton of information out there on learning how to build trails. So here are my tips for getting into trail building. These tips are primarily for someone that doesn't know where to start and wants to get into trail building by hand as I don't have any experience with building machine cut trails. For trail building ideas I enjoy watching pov riding videos, for trail building tools I honestly just recommend start with a shovel and maybe a pickaxe.
