Trains at Colchester Town, SCL - 25/3/19

Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Colchester Town on the Sunshine Coast Line where services are seen by Greater Anglia only. Colchester Town was an interesting little station and is one of the few single platformed stations I've filmed. The station for just one platform saw quite a bit of frequency and not a great deal of wait time for trains to arrive in. The station hasn't got the best view out as it is very curved but outside the station as you leave it is interesting as the line is basically a triangle between the Great Eastern Main Line, Sunshine Coast Line and entrance into Colchester Town so you can easily see trains waiting. The station has a good amount of facilities and oddly is never open on a Sunday. I'd recommend a filming session here though, it's good for sure!
