Trains at Colchester, GEML - 25/3/19

Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Colchester on the Great Eastern Main Line where services are seen by Greater Anglia only. Colchester is one of the most uniquely laid out stations I've seen as it has a large platform surface spreading across two platform numbers and has some bay platforms hidden around the station. The station in terms of trains has more trains stopping and has some pretty good variety of Greater Anglia electric trains. The view towards Manningtree is absolutely insane, it's certainly one of the best I've ever seen from a station. Colchester also had some brilliant passing freight, a bit more did pass through however I only caught one freight working as I was having lunch during the times the others went through. Definitely a recommended station for sure!
