I don't make a habit of awarding wines 100 points. In fact, I've only ever done it twice in my professional career: once, to the 2021 Giaconda Chardonnay. In this video I look at the 2022 Chardonnay in real time - it's high stakes - IE I had not tasted these wine either from bottle or barrel prior to opening here on camera. I did this so we could discuss the wine as it unfolded. It's more exciting that way ;) On the bench are the 2022 Estate Roussanne (the inaugural release), and the two Estate reds - the Shiraz and the Nebbiolo. They predictably evaporated on the morning of release to the mailing list, but I bet you've all received yours by now. Have you tasted any of these wines, yet?
