Thought I'd try the morning fishing from a new location for me. I've heard people fishing off the River Walk in Newport. There are a couple of 'social areas' that are suitable for fishing from. No bites and a couple of snags but it was an interesting time. The location is probably one of the best location for wheelchair fishing on the Usk in Newport. These locations on the Usk are really only suitable for the higher tides. There is not much water on the low tides.
