3DS MAX 2020 Tutorial - Blinking lights! using OSL

OSL maps give us a convenient and easy way to create and control blinking lights, all from within the material editor! (Here we're making illuminated objects, not actual scene lights.) We'll blink lights, strobe them, make a string of lights blink in a wave - like you'd see at a carnival, and a ball of mesmerizing Christmas-style lights. Woah. By the end of the tutorial you'll be able to blink anything, anywhere. The magic map in this setup is called "Waveform (animated)" and it's found at the bottom of the OSL map list. Intro: 0:00 Blinking a single light: 0:42 String of lights blinking in a 'wave': 5:35 Ball of blinking lights: 8:01 Note: you'll need at least 3DS Max 2019 to follow along. Ideally, you're using version 2020.3 or higher to benefit from the new viewport enhancements.
