This is an earlier rendition of the same song in a live performance at Winnipeg's Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in 1991. The state of world affairs today offers little joy to anyone who has a caring heart, but as children of the living God, we have an overriding joy that chases away all sadness. JESUS IS OURS! The great apostle & theologian Paul had an unsurpassed intellect & education, but when he found Jesus he declared, "I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ." Phil 3:8 Indeed, all the world's riches & wisdom cannot give us the essential "peace that passes all understanding" (Phil 4:7) which only Jesus can give us. Yes, the Unified Theory of Everything, the Weak Force & the Strong Force, whatever is holding everything together is Jesus Christ...AND HE'S ALL OURS! Let's make Him the guiding beacon in our lives & all sadness will be banished by His Heavenly Sunlight!!
