In my experience, while Lumen with Hardware Ray Tracing delivers impressive real-time performance, it still relies on approximations and screen-space effects that fall short of the full realism you get with true ray tracing. Switching to a full ray-traced approach provides much more accurate lighting, reflections, and shadows, especially in scenes with complex light interactions and multiple bounces. For anyone seeking maximum realism, full ray tracing outshines Lumen by far.
