RBAI COLTS 57-3 BANGOR ACADEMY 2ND HALF HIGHLIGHTS 2022 3rd XV Schools Cup - Semi-Final - RBAI Colts v Bangor Academy Having watched the RBAI 3rd XV game v MCB come to a conclusion (15-12 win for RBAi to make it through to the final) I videoed some highlights of the last twenty minutes or so of the other semi-final of the 3rd XV Schools Cup - RBAI Colts v Bangor Academy (1st XV) - taking place on the 1sts pitch at Cranmore. This game was a replay following a drawn game in Bangor. The score was 26-13 as I got set up. Included in this video are the four tries that advanced the score to 31-13, 38-3, 45-13, 52-13 and then to the final score of 57-3. The Colts will now advance to play RBAI 3rds in the final. A word here for Bangor Academy and to their coaching staff who are doing a fantastic jobs spreading the rugby gospel in NI schools. This was the school's first endeavour in senior Schools Cup rugby and to get to a semi-final (and force a replay in the semi) is a fantastic achievement! I wish them every success going forward.
