Black Bear Ridge is located 10 minutes North of the 401, at the midpoint between Toronto and Ottawa/Montreal, in Belleville, Ontario. Without a doubt, this is your #1 stop in Eastern Ontario if you're looking for a quality, public golf experience. For an amateur architect, Mr. Magee's set of par 4's are incredibly unique. In our opinion, they contribute to the insurmountable amount of fun you will have out at BBR. It's a strong "full-swing" golf course, offering variety and length off the tee. The greens are pure, the staff are friendly, and it's difficult find a better value for golf in Ontario. Not many players leave this place hanging their head. To cap of our golf season in Ontario, the annual 3-Man Pro Scramble in October is quite possibly the most fun we ever have year-round. The tournament attracts some of the best pros and amateurs in the province, resulting in some great competition, despite the questionable weather. For us at TPL, Black Bear Ridge is more than golf.
