After the Gibb we spent a few days in Kununurra getting the window fixed, which worked out well as we were waiting on the drone parts to be arrive in the post. With everything on our to-do list ticked off, we hit the road again and started making our way to Alice Springs where we were catching up with Mark’s parents for a few days. Before getting too far we spent a couple of nights in Purnululu National Park and then drove down the Tanami Track. The Tanami Track is a 1000km or so unsealed road which runs from Halls Creek to Alice Springs. A few days off from filming in Alice (the wine and chocolate distracted Jolie from the camera), we drove to Uluru and found one of the best camp spots we’ve been to so far. Mark’s brother Mitch joins us and will be our sidekick for the next 2 weeks as we explore Uluru and the West MacDonnell Ranges.
