Spending just over a week checking out the Ningaloo Marine Park between Coral Bay and Exmouth, it was time to head northeast to Karijini National Park to explore the amazing red gorges and beautiful (freezing) swimming holes. The drive there was very scenic, with the dirt becoming more red, and rugged mountains appearing around every corner. Before heading into Karijini, Mark had to replace some dodgy bolts under the car which were starting to make some noise the day before. Good as new! Our few days in Karijini were amazing, it’s hard not to relax in a place that beautiful! Although a little colder than we’d anticipated (thermals on for bed), it was still so refreshing jumping in the freezing cold pools in the gorges. Surprisingly we ran out of time to do a run through of our plans for the trip, though they will definitely be in next weeks video! On a side note… Jolie meant to say Charles Knife Canyon Road instead of Shothole Canyon Road.
