Raajvir Vijay is a student at The International School Bangalore, India. His honours include being a CONRAD Innovator 2022 and a Regional Finalist for the UBER Global Hackathon 2022 in Southeast Asia. He also achieved Rank 1 in the Global Economics Olympiad and Rank 2 in the International Finance Olympiad. As the chief organiser of TISBHacks 2023 and 2024, he raised over 4.5 Lakh INR, donating the profits to charity, and helped organise the TISB ML-thon in 2021, the largest student-led machine learning competition in India. In 2023, he developed "Somnia," an app designed to help insomniacs sleep better, now used by over 100 people. Raajvir also founded his school’s Computer Science Club, where he led a team in building AI applications for social good, including a meeting transcription and summarisation tool. He actively works to improve student life at his school, creating a platform for feedback on school meals and launching an anti-vaping initiative, reaching over 500 students. At the CCIR Academy, Raajvir’s research project, "How Do Media Releases Affect Netflix Stock," investigates the impact of media announcements on Netflix’s stock price. It likely examines how news about new shows, films, or partnerships influences investor behaviour and stock trends.
