Rose Among the Heather & Stan Chapman's Jig

I have been playing these two jigs for a number of years now and think I first heard them played together as a set on a Kevin Burke album. If you haven't heard his version, it's well worth a listen as he has a wonderful style and is an extremely talented fiddle player. He plays a lot for a band called 'Celtic Fiddle Festival' who I had the great pleasure to see playing live in a small theatre in Buxton. https://www.kevinburke.com/ The first tune is a traditional Irish melody and is well known among session players. The second tune was composed by the late Jerry Holland whose fiddle playing I find to be so inspirational as it is full of energy and drive.
