Vaidya Rammanohar explains that prakriti is a signature of a person’s balance. It is the baseline optimum physiological state to which individuals tend to come back to. He talks about how humans are similar as well as dissimilar to each other. We are all made from the same ingredients but each of us have different configurations. Knowing one’s prakriti is to discover ones configuration. Ayurveda says that if we know our prakriti, we can compensate for any deficiencies by adhering to certain principles and by following a specific diet or lifestyle. Rajiv and Vaidya Rammanohar also discuss the need to understand the impact of genetic engineering on prakriti and different shariras. They conclude the discussion by touching upon how prakriti expresses itself in the body through the balancing of the dosa-s and in the mind through the balancing of the guna-s.
