Full Process Drawing Dragonfly Watercolour Pencil Background Dip Pen

Full process, No Chat Drawing and Colouring Video. I'm using Shore and Marsh (Hobbycraft) watercolour pencils for the backgrounds, and Derwent Inktense for the dragonfly colours, and then my dip pen and ink with Winsor and Newton Black Indian Ink. It's been sped up by x2 and x4 to make it more watchable. I'm using two brushes on the initial wash, because I wanted really wet paper, and didn't have a big enough brush, this method works fine, in the absence of a bigger brush. For the backgrounds, because my cheap watercolour pencils are a bit rubbish, I'm flicking the paint directly from the pigment onto wet cold pressed watercolour paper. I am using 190gsm Watercolour Paper. Hope you enjoy! This includes making, drawing and painting. It's something I can do - even when I'm exhausted from the fatigue of my illness, I can just sit quietly and draw. I've only started drawing again in September 2023 after many decades of not drawing, so I'm very much out of practice and still learning!
