Purple circles Zentangle style freestyle art drawing ink and pens watchalong

I love working with circles! In this one, I'm using my black gel pen and a diluted purple winsor and newton drawing ink (in which I added a small drop of cobalt to darken the ink). My inks are running out and I wanted to make sure I had enough to finish this picture, looking forward to having some empty bottles to make up my own shades!! It took about an hour to complete, I've sped it up x4 speed and edited out a fair bit of dithering and pondering, which does happen when I work on these Zentangle drawings. I like to try to get the balance right between the light and dark areas and the colour balance as well. Quite happy with this one, I love drawing out the free flowing lines and curls. With no improvement in my health and another diagnosis of Connective Tissue Disease (Feb 24), and then Cutaneous Lupus (Jun 24). I am now focusing on all the art techniques and crafts which I've always wanted to try, but never did.. I'm still managing to do at least one, sometimes two hours of arty things most days. This includes making, drawing and painting. It's something I can do - even when I'm exhausted from the fatigue of my illness, I can just sit quietly and draw. I've only started drawing again in September 2023 after many decades of not drawing, so I'm very much out of practice and still learning!
