Stranded on the Island of Vis, Croatia | Shore Fishing Trip

#fishing #croatia #vis Back in January, we spent 10 days on our favorite island ever - Vis! The unspoiled, raw, and breathtaking island of Vis always leaves a mark on us. Without a special plan, we took the legendary ferry boat "Petar Hektorović" from Split. It's also the only way to reach the island with a car which is mandatory if you want to go shore jigging around the island. The weather literally forced us to spend half of the fishing trip at the Primarius Lodge. Strong winds and lots of rain kept us stranded. What's the best way to fight off the fishing anxiety - cooking! Oh boy, we cooked! When the weather finally got better we made a few fishing sessions in the morning, unfortunately for us, the fish was not there or it was really lazy. We decided to try the afternoon and it was a bingo! We landed a few nice amberjacks off the rocks! The relief after 6-7 days on the island was measured in tons! We tried some eging and squid fishing during the night but the weather was really mean. But, once you need less, you'll have more. These three amberjacks were more than enough for us so we prepared a real feast in the upcoming days for our dear friends on the island. 🔔 Let me know if you like the video in the comments below.
