I was eagerly waiting for my friend Ivan to visit from Zagreb so we can go squid fishing for live bait and explore crazy remote fishing spots we previously marked. The goal was to catch enough squid for a full-day fishing trip and try to catch decent snapper, john dory, or something like that. The weather forecast was terrible so we prayed for a brief weather window just to let us set the sails. Thank you Snapper Gods, that happened!
