CSX 1899 Pere Marquette Heritage Unit

On May 4, 2024, I saw reports that CSX's newest heritage unit #1899 painted as the Pere Marquette heritage unit had arrived over night and would be leaving mid-day on CSX M575. I went out to KC Junction in Covington, KY, and after clearing up some yard congestion, M575 rounded the corner. Although it was facing South, the #1899 did not lead the train, but was used as a mid-train DPU.
