Its an extremely important muscle for the lower body. its main function is to stabilize the pelvis in activities like Running , walking & stair climbing. During these activities when the whole body is on one leg , gluteus medius Helps to stabilize the pelvis and prevents the knee and ankle from rolling inwards. If this muscle gets weak it may lead to numerous Lower body injuries. It can also cause low back pain. Strengthening this muscle will ensure proper pelvic stabilization and lower limb injury prevention.
