I turned Enki into my favourite character with the power of imagination hahah! XD I imagined him as this half-anti-social and temperamental avid reader with a heart of honour, which you can play as! Who also brought the priests who imprisoned him to justice by seeking out the guard of Rondon and telling them of the many crimes they have committed against nobles! Straying away from canon, but I'm enjoying it! I also enjoy the same thing the old, grand Bioware did: giving main characters high ranks above the law, like spectres in Mass Effect! And I'm an enjoyer of healthy team couples, and the only one I know of in media is the couple Gomez and Morticia. Anyway, Nosramus was the most suitable partner for Enki, but, that would've required way too much change, and there were no other canon characters suitable, so I made a character up that was compatible with Enki, and one that I could like! I picture him being a scholar and enjoyer of tea, who is clever, gentle, tranquil and a little humorous, until he's gravely scorned, and he's a silent, raging volcano. "Kaelestya, Rondonized kelestia, thus the most potent supernatural energies of the old gods repurposed for battle were labelled. Such supernatural essence is at the limit of what a common human mind can withstand. Priests and sorcerers cannot grasp it, battlesorcerers struggle to control a fraction of it, there have only been a few battlesorcerers in history who've managed to wield them, as if they were blessed for their devotion to their respective old gods. Such warriors came to be known as kaelestyi, Rondonized kelestials, the highest of rank across the west and the east, second only to monarchs and sovereigns. Over the course of history, it was deemed a crime to assault a kaelestyus unprovoked in many khanates if the sorcerer in question were a citizen there, one punishable with a life sentence to the dungeons. We know of two current kaelestyi, a scholar of unknown heritage, and a scholar of the steppes, both married last year. Enki Ankarian and Monkhtul of Yulanbaatar, the former of the goddess of death Mourgana, the latter of the god of lifeforce Vinushka. There's little that we know of their personal histories, especially that of Ankarian, for they have chosen to keep them private; But what we know is that Ankarian grew in a now raided and abandoned monastery of Gro'Goroth, incapable of harnessing the destroyer's might, thus he beared not the fragile and bony appearance of the priests and sorcerers of destruction. He met Monkhtul of Yulanbaatar there, who barely earned his noble title, in search of information about the unknown "The Forgotten One", for he had heard rumours that said he might've been a distant cousin of that mysterious figure one could only read of in scrolls long lost. His fruitless journey led him to seeking out the libraries of wilderness monasteries and towers of sorceri. After they had become friends, and even more, Monkhtul of Yulanbaatar brought Enki Ankarian to his home khanate, Khuzanait, where the former dark priest found a home, and trained for two years as a battlesorcerer of Mourgana, when he summoned a smaller version of her own scythe, reshaped into a warscythe. In case anyone were unaware of how Monkhtul of Yulanbaatar earned his title of kaelestyus, he harnessed the capability of morphing into Vinushka's most prominent form, an ashen beast with the antlers of a buck, the whiskers of an oriental dragon, head and legs of a horse, a muzzle reminiscent of a wolf, clawed forelegs, the back hooves of a ram, and the tail of a lizard. Some folk expressed their concerns regarding the kaelestyi, unsure if they truly were noble warriors deserving of their titles. We know for sure that they are not outlaws taking advantage of their ranks. People of the steppes have spoken of their actions, a stolen child saved from a cult dedicated to false teachings of Gro'Goroth, a tribe protected from a great beast of terror, the kaelestyi were nothing short of heroes; Whether simply because they were there at the right time and could help, as it seemed to be the case with Enki Ankarian, or genuine concern for the well being of others, as was the case with Monkhtul of Yulanbaatar. Last we heard, they were headed to Rondon, planning on paying the treacherous dungeons of terror and starvation a visit, for the one and only Le'Garde". We will be praying for their safe return."
