The Manchester-based English boy band Take That made its debut in 1990. In 1989, they were initially formed to create a British male vocal singing group modelled on New Kids on the Block. They then altered their plans to create a group that complements Garry Barlow, the first member. Their breakthrough single was a cover of the 1975 Tavares hit "It Only Takes a Minute", and the success continue to pour in after that. They sold 19 million records from then till their disbandment in 1996. A total of 12 of the group's singles have reached number one on the UK Singles Chart, including "Back for Good," "Never Forget," "Patience," and "Greatest Day," which have all reached the top 40 and the top five, respectively. Three of their albums are among the top 60 best-selling albums in UK chart history, and four of their albums are among the best-selling albums of the millennium. They reformed in 2006 and went on tour without Robbie Williams. He rejoined the band in 2009, doing the Progress sessions. They toured Europe on their Progress Live tour to promote the album. In October of the same year Williams chose to leave the group again to focus on his solo career. Jason Orange left Take That in 2014 and Take That became a 3 piece band. They released their seventh album called "III" in 2014. The band continued as a 3 piece for Wonderland in 2017 and Odyssey in 2018.
