Gran Turismo 7 - Neo-Classic Competition - Willow Springs Motorsport Park Race & Strategy Guide

Welcome to my guide to winning the Neo-Classic Competition Race around Willow Springs Motorsport Park on Gran Turismo 7. Car Used for this race: Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Special Things I bought for this car from the Tuning Shop: Ballast Power Restrictor Things I changed in the Tuning Menu: ECU Output Adjustment: 90 Ballast: 43 Power Restrictor: 85 The Suzuka Escudo Pikes Peak Special is a very light and fast car, its very good for medium to high speed corners which makes it perfect for this track, some of the AI’s cars are a little faster in straight line but you will more than make up the time lost through the corners. This race is a 10 Lap Sprint Race around Willow Springs - Big Willow, This track is a pretty easy one, the only major issue is if you make a mistake and run wide or go off the track it can cost you quite a lot of time so play it safe for the first laps until you get a good understanding of how the car performs. The strategy is very straight forward, keep the fuel at level 6 the entire race, this race is very close on fuel and you may need to pit on the last lap for a tiny bit of fuel to make it home. The Racing Hard Tyres will last the entire race so you don’t need to change those. Lift and coast into some corners once you’re in the lead to save some fuel if you can. You should still win the race even with a quick pit stop for fuel. I have the Traction Control set to level 2 for this race but that’s personal preference and you can choose whatever setting you want, although having it set higher will cost you time so its worth getting used to a low level of Traction Control or turning it off all together would be even better. You can get penalties in this race but it would quite hard on this track to receive a penalty because you cannot cut corners without going off the track and we aren’t making a pit stop so you shouldn’t have to worry about that. If you have any questions or are struggling with the strategy please comment below and I will do my best to help you. The difficulty of the AI for this race was set to Intermediate so I am not sure whether the strategy will work for the harder difficulty but if it doesn’t let me know in the comments below and I will do my best to give you some advice.
