Gran Turismo 7 - Neo-Classic Competition - Fuji Speedway Race & Strategy Guide

Welcome to my guide to winning the Neo-Classic Competition Race around Fuji Speedway on Gran Turismo 7. Car Used for this race: Toyota Supra GT500 Things I bought for this car from the Tuning Shop: Medium-RPM Turbocharger Racing HardTyres Intermediate Tyres (incase of rain) Heavy Wet Tyres (incase of rain) Things I changed in the Tuning Menu: Make sure the Medium-RPM Turbocharger is selected Anti-Lag System - Change from Weak to Strong The Toyota Supra GT500 is a decent all round GT car and with the additional power from the turbocharger it makes it very fast in a straight line and the car handles very well. This race is a 10 Lap Sprint Race around Fuji Speedway, this race isn’t straight forward because you will have rain start to drop anytime after lap 5 and you will need to make another Pit Stop just to put the rain tyres on. The strategy is very straight forward, keep the fuel at level 6 the entire race, the strategy is to try and stay out as long as possible so you don’t need to make a second Pit Stop for rain tyres but in my scenario that didn’t happen, I had to pit on lap 6 or I would’ve run out of fuel and on the very next lap we needed to pit for the Heavy Wet Tyres. The AI make 2 stops as well so it shouldn’t be a problem to catch them after the stops. I have the Traction Control set to level 2 for this race but that’s personal preference and you can choose whatever setting you want, although having it set higher will cost you time so its worth getting used to a low level of Traction Control or turning it off all together would be even better. You can get penalties in this race so make sure not to cut any corners or cross the white line on pit entry and pit exit. If you have any questions or are struggling with the strategy please comment below and I will do my best to help you. The difficulty of the AI for this race was set to Intermediate so I am not sure whether the strategy will work for the harder difficulty but if it doesn’t let me know in the comments below and I will do my best to give you some advice.
