This arrangement is written primarily for solo cornet (trumpet/flugelhorn) or solo euphonium/baritone. It might also be performable on trombone, but it is most probable the tempo would need to be moderated to some extent. Metronome marks are not given to allow flexibility to the performer, but the last section should be played as fast as possible. The slow section which begins the piece allows for quite a lot of rubato. The performer need not feel too constrained by the specific affectations called for on the page. The player may additionally choose to add additional rubato in the faster sections. Most important is that the playful, dancing quality of the music be maintained. The running 16th-note passages may be articulated just as shown on the page, or if the performance is too heavy or perhaps uneven with so much double-tonguing, some slurring may be added to facilitate a bit more melodic sound from the player. #monti #csardas #euphonium EUPHONIUM, TUBA, TRUMPET, FRENCH HORN, TROMBONE, CORNET, BARITONE, TENOR HORN, FLUGELHORN, PERCUSSION Affiliate links Ultrabreathe: https://amzn.to/2jLV8m6 Voldyne 5000: https://amzn.to/2jNB2rF Live Strong, Play Strong, Represent Clothing: teespring.com/theunderdog teespring.com/the-cowboy teespring.com/therebellionstrong teespring.com/thegodfatherstrong 0:00 - Csárdás (Euphonium Solo with Piano) 3:44 - JP274s Euphonium Bundle Deal
