All art supplies used to create this art project: 11" x 15" Canvas, Yarn, White Gesso, Black acrylic paint, Neon Blue acrylic paint, Gold acrylic paint, Painters tape, 2" Paintbrush, Angled Shader Paintbrush, Makeup Sponge Wedge, Water, Rinse Cup, Paint Palette, Scissors Plastic to protect tabletop from paint. @0:00 3-D Textured Abstract Painting on Canvas @0:06 Supplies needed: canvas, yarn, gesso, tape and scissors. @0:12 Tape end of yarn to back of the canvas. @0:40 Wrap yarn around the canvas as shown. @0:57 Secure yarn to back of the canvas with tape. @1:08 Wrap yarn around the canvas. @1:33 Secure yarn to back of the canvas with tape. @1:44 Wrap yarn around the canvas. @2:20 Secure yarn to back of the canvas with tape. @2:31 Apply 2 or 3 coats of white gesso with a paintbrush. @2:51 Allow gesso to dry completely before continuing. @2:56 Remove tape and trim off yarn from back of canvas. @3:22 Paint entire canvas with Neon Blue acrylic paint. @3:50 Shade the canvas with Black acrylic paint @5:46 Add gold paint to the raised texture with a sponge. @8:25 See MORE textured paintings!
