It was the weekend of the annual bluefish tournament of 2023 so we did go out with intention of looking for bluefish but really didn't waste time roaming around. Instead we hit up some deep boulders first and then trolled over to some shallower ones. We found black seabass at all depths on this trip. Although it was a grind on the kayak, there were some major highlights and surprises along the way, and we both had a great time out on the water!
