In This Video Parsi Mawa Cake recipe with homemade Instant Mawa . Parsi Mawa Cake Recipe is a classic tea time cake made famous by Irani or Parsi bakeries. It is flavored with cardamom and topped with pistachios and almond flakes. This tea time cake is moist and very light, but gets an intense, caramalised flavour from the Mawa or Khoya, which is reduced/evaporated milk. . Preparation Time - 15 mins Baking Time - 50 mins Serves - 12 INGREDIENTS ✴ For Mawa Milk - 1/4 Cup Butter - 1/2 tbsp Milk Powder - 1/2 Cup ✴ For Cake Maida - 1.5 Cups Baking Powder - 1 & 1/4 tsp Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp Chopped Nuts - 1/2 Cup Butter - 1/4 Cup Oil - 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar - 3/4 Cup Curd - 1/2 Cup or 2 eggs Milk - 1/2 Cup Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tbsp Vinegar - 1/2 tsp ( Optional) . Steps ➡️ For instant mawa heat butter in a pan, add milk and mix it once. Add milk powder and cook on medium flame for 1-2 minutes until mawa leaves the pan. Let it cool before using for cake. ➡️ In a mixing bowl sieve together maida, baking powder and soda. Dust the chopped nuts with dry flour and sieve once. ➡️ In another mixing bowl, add butter, oil and powdered sugar. Whip it nicely until the mixture becomes soft and fluffy. ➡️ Add mawa and curd and mix them too. ➡️ Mix dry and wet ingredients along with milk( add in batches) ➡️ Add cardamom powder and vinegar & mix the batter gently. ➡️ Add batter to greased pan and also add nuts. Tap it few times. ➡️ Oven - Bake @180 in a pre heated oven for 40-45 minutes. ➡️ Kadhai - Bake on low to medium flame in a preheated kadhai for 50- 55 minutes. ➡️ Let it cool completely before serving. ➡️ Consume within 2 days or can be used upto a week if stored in fridge. .
