In this video I reinstall the old clutch and flywheel and assemble the transmission to the engine and get it installed in the engine bay. This will mostly be done because I need the engine in the car to see where all of the pipes, hoses and connectors need to be so I can get started on that. Timestamps: 0:00 - Intro 1:00 - Resetting the clutch pressure plate 4:20 - Assembling the clutch onto the engine 10:40 - Setting up the gearbox 12:15 - Putting the engine in the car 14:00 - Outro The biggest concern I have with the entire build is the MaxxEcu engine management system that will be installed, that is something that I have no experience with and I think it will take some time to figure out how it all works. This old clutch can be swapped out quickly if it poses a problem further on in the build (I Can almost guarantee that it will). But for now I just want to save time and money for the big issues in the build. I do NOT recommend using a dual-mass flywheel and a stock pressure and friction plate if you are building a Volvo 740 t5 And if you are following this video in order to change out a flywheel, make sure to swap out the screws that secure the flywheel to the crankshaft as it is required by Volvo for a safe installation as mentioned in the video.
